The La Quinta Inn & Suites expansion project involves both new builds and extensive renovations across North America. A key challenge was to retrofit existing buildings with a modern, lightweight façade while minimizing installation time and cost. Bostik's PanelTack™ system was selected for its efficiency and suitability for this large-scale retrofit. The use of very thin porcelain tile panels with PanelTack™ resulted in a 60% reduction in installation time and cut costs in half compared to traditional mechanical fastening systems. Additionally, PanelTack™ facilitated a sleek, modern look while minimizing additional weight on existing structures, significantly enhancing the project’s overall efficiency and aesthetic appeal.
